Soul Made together with Carly from Rivarossa Botanicals invite you to be immersed in the craft of natural dyeing.
We want to share our love of natural dyeing with you in this 1.5-2 hour session. You will go home with a lovely peace silk scarf and 2 paintings that you will create using homegrown florals. You will also get the chance to create a hemp/linen blended book mark.
We will experiment with different acids and alkalis to change the colours we are painting with. We are very conscientious about where we get our fabrics from so we only use ethically sourced materials.
In this workshop you will learn about various techniques and processes of natural dyeing through conversation. When making our silk scarf we will mainly focus on the bundle dye technique using florals from my dye garden.
